Carrying CATL batteries, China's first diesel-electric hybrid cruise ship "DA WAN QU YI HAO" was officially put into operation at Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Homeport, on September 1.

It is reported that the full ship of diesel-electric hybrid "DA WAN QU YI HAO" has a total of 144 high-energy density CATL power battery packs, using advanced CTP (cell to pack) module-free technology, and the total power reaches 2520kWh, which is equivalent to the power of 200 hybrid vehicles. The battery compartment is located on both sides of the bow and bottom compartment, and the cabin is equipped with air-conditioning to control the temperature at 25±2℃, which is conducive to the best performance of the battery.

GTA Released New Tungsten Average Prices for August

The new guide prices for China tungsten market were released by listed companies and tungsten associations on Wednesday August 7, which rose slightly compared with last time but lowered than current market prices. The tungsten carbide bars price failed to meet market expectations and market trading remained low.

Ganzhou Tungsten Association(GTA)’s new tungsten average prices for this month: wolframite concentrate was quoted at $10,703/t, an increase of $234.4/t from last month; ammonium paratungstate (APT) was quoted at $191.6/mtu, up $4.4/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder was quoted at $28.5/kg, up $0.3/kg.

Zhangyuan Tungsten also released its new offer levels for the second half of this month: wolframite concentrate was $10,703/t; scheelite tungsten carbide burrs concentrate was $10,468.8/t; APT was $191.6/mtu, down $8.8/mtu. For Jiangxi Tungsten, the company stopped quoting for the raw materials.
